Michelle is empathic, caring, and deeply wants the best for all her clients. For many years, she consulted with organisations, working with financial management, executives, medical professionals, lawyers, teachers, and engineers on how to manage and better their day to day life.
She has extensive experience working with young adults, teenagers, and their family members. Michelle brings a sense of acceptance and warmth and holds a safe space where her clients are free to explore, discuss, and collaboratively work through their current or past issues. Michelle is particularly passionate at helping people work through their relationship conflict, personal challenges, transitions, stress, and improving one's psychological resilience.
Michelle adopts a philosophy that fosters a sense of resilience and approaching life’s difficulties and disappointments with an expansion attitude and one of acceptance. Michelle assists her clients to understand and better manage their day to day emotional self. It is her goal to work collaboratively with clients and to empower them with problem solving skills, self-efficacy, emotional regulation and helpful internal dialogue.
She believes that therapy should not be unpleasant or arduous but an empowering experience that can be personally rewarding and enhance emotional maturity and growth. She enjoys the opportunity to help individuals and families achieve their desired goals and potential throughout their work and family life.
Michelle has studied and travelled to various parts of the world (e.g. Canada, Britain, and America just to name a few) and loves the richness of different cultures and history. She is a true believer in personal growth, and that no one is ever too old to learn and/or change their behaviours.
